Lines within swaths

Sharp OD/gloss lines for a single mono-color and its corresponding mixed colors.

A single light line (doesn’t repeat in next swath)?

Detected too late for compensation in that swath.

Cannot be solved (a slower print mode will reduce the problem).

A light line that repeats in multiple swaths, high quality mode or better.

Probably undetected nozzle failure or side shooter.

Run maintenance + nozzle optimization.

Dark/light/gloss lines (single mono-color/not at swath boundary)

Probably compensated nozzle failure, but still (somewhat) visible.

Run maintenance + nozzle optimization (to prevent the nozzle failure).

Try a different print mode (to reduce visibility).

Many lines or a thin band, doesn’t go away after manual maintenance

Run printhead test chart. See: Analyse the printhead quality check chart. If lines are visible over multiple printhead colors, verify if the printer is correctly cleaned (fibers).
