Sharp lines or bands.	Matching the roller positions.	Some media are very sensitive to mechanical deformation.	Try a different medium.
More gradual variation, some periodicity		Selected print mode is to fast.	Select a slower print mode see Select a print mode. If you are printing in a high speed gloss (1 and 2 pass) print mode, select a slower print mode. If you are printing in Matte Specialty, you can select the monodirectional strategy option.
Mechanical problem.	Check the carriage guidance, bearings or lubricators.
