Install Windows updates

Introduction

Install Windows updates, also called security patches, when they are available for your product on http://downloads.cpp.canon.

Before you begin

Go to http://downloads.cpp.canon. Open the page for your product and click on the Security tab to download the available security patches.

Procedure

  1. Open the settings editor.
  2. Click on [Support] → [Software updates] .
  3. Click on [Install] in the [Windows updates ] section.
  4. Click on [Select a file] and browse to the patch file.

    Repeat this step when you have more patch files. The system uploads and installs the patches and displays the result in the [Windows updates] section.

  5. Click on [Ok] when the update is finished.
