Introduction

Software licenses provide extra options for the Colorado 1630.

Three available options

1. Print inside and double sided

   The license allows printing on the inner side of the media, making double sided prints possible.

   Double-sided printing is only guaranteed in Matte modes, otherwise the printed side will stick to the print surface. So for double-sided printing, it is also required to have a Matte license.

2. Second roll in the drawer

   Without the license, media can only be loaded into position 1 in the drawer. For inside printing, the media is still allowed into position 2, since the media is still fed through the slot for position 1.

3. Matte print modes

   With this license, the operator is allowed to use the matte print modes; otherwise only glossy print modes are available.

   This license is also required to print in Backlit mode.
