Error codes overview

Introduction

When an error occurs you will see an information icon on the operator panel. Click on the icon to find information on the error.

In the table below you find the most common error codes.

  • Use the advanced black markers.

  • Clean the media or use different media.

  • Check the fan settings.

  • Use uncurled or undamaged media.

  • Use the correct winding mode.

  • Make sure media is not damaged or curled.

  • Make sure the media can be transported well.

Automatic maintenance cannot be performed while the system is in error.

To prevent damage to the printhead heating is switched off. Try to prevent the printer being in an error state for too long (e.g. overnight).

When the error situation is resolved the printheads will automatically warm up again.

Knife position error

  • Make sure you use a cuttable media

  • If the knife is damaged, replace knife, see Replace the knife.

  • Check if there are no obstructions in knife path.
