Accounted pages

Accounted pages

  • All print sides that are successfully printed are accounted.

  • An insert sheet is accounted as one 1-sided black&white page, regardless of the number of pages assigned to the sheet (0,1,2).

  • A separator sheet is accounted as one 1-sided black&white page.

  • When a job gets a RIP error, each printed page of that job is accounted.

  • In case a 2-sided sheet contains a blank page, both sides of the 2-sided sheet are accounted.

    A blank page is a page without any content.

Not accounted pages

  • The pages that the user must remove after an error are not accounted.

  • Banner pages, trailer pages, sample sheets and shoot-outs are not accounted.

  • The back side of a 1-sided (simplex) sheet is not accounted.

  • In case a 1-sided sheet is promoted to a 2-sided (duplex) sheet for scheduling optimization, the promoted 2-sided sheet is accounted as a 1-sided sheet.

  • White pages in a PDF (when printed using APPE) will not be billed and therefore not accounted.
