Clean the scanner rollers and sensors

Turn the printer OFF.

Pull the lever and lift up the cover of the ADF.

Clean the rollers inside the cover of the ADF.

• Use a moistened tissue to clean the rollers.

  IMPORTANT

  Make sure that also the grooves and surroundings of the rollers are clean.

• Dry the cleaned areas with a dry tissue.

Gently close the cover of the ADF.

[Open the main cover.]

[Use a tissue to clean the scanner sensor.]

• Clean the areas (a) and (b) with a soft tissue.

• If the stains do not come off, use a moistened tissue to clean the sensors.

• Dry the cleaned areas with a dry tissue.

Use the blue lever to [Open the white plate.]

NOTE

Gently open the cover to prevent damage to the glass platen.

[Use a tissue to clean the scanner sensor.]

• Use the blue lever to access the scanner sensors.

• Clean the areas (a) and (b) with a soft tissue.

• If the stains do not come off, use a moistened tissue to clean the sensors.

• Dry the cleaned areas with a dry tissue.

• Gently close the scanning area.

Close the white plate.

[Close the main cover.]

Turn ON the printer.
