Encoding

The accounting log file is encoded in UTF-8.

Filename format

Accounting log file names have the following format:

Nine-digit serial number of the device on which the accounting log file is created.

<extension>

CSV | ACL File extension.

The extension of an inactive log file is “.CSV” (Comma Separated Values) and the extension of an active log file is “.ACL” (ACtive Log).

Identification supplied by the submitter of the job (e.g OJT attribute 'JobNumber').

jobid

<num>

Identification generated by the print server: uniqueness is not guaranteed.

jobtype

COPY | IP | AP | SYSTEM | SCAN | SCAN2MBX | MBXCOPY

  • COPY: copy job

  • IP: interactive printing job

  • AP: automatic printing job

  • SYSTEM: system generated test prints

  • SCAN: scan to file job

  • SCAN2MBX: scan to mailbox job

  • MBXCOPY: mailbox copy job. The scan clicks are not logged again

startdate

<date>

The date when the job has started printing.

starttime

<time>

The start time is set when the first sheet of the job is sent to the printer.

Any time required to handle one or more start contradictions are not included in the start time. The job does not become active in case of a start contradiction. A start contradiction can be: paper not present.

activetime

<duration>

The active time is the sum of all times that the job was processing. The job is active between the time that a job starts processing and stops processing. For example, a job can stop processing due to "Out of paper". When the paper is refilled, the job starts processing again.

A job is allowed to stop at either sheet or set boundary. When the job is stopped, the job can be removed and the accounting information can be collected.

idletime

<duration>

The total time the job is active but waiting for operator interaction. The idle time is the difference between the ready time and the start time, minus the active time.

readydate

<date>

The date the job is finished or aborted.

readytime

<time>

The ready time is the time when the job is removed from the list of scheduled jobs. The job is either finished or aborted.

result

( DONE | ABRT | STOP )

The state of the completed job.

  • DONE if the job completed successfully

  • ABRT if the job was aborted

  • STOP if the job was temporarily stopped but not removed

username

User name specified in the job.

jobname

The name supplied by the submitter of an IP/AP job, the generated filename for a SCAN job, empty for all other job types.

costcentre

Name of department specified in the job (e.g. OJT attribute 'GroupName').

custom

Custom string specified in the job (e.g. OJT attribute 'Custom').

accountid

<str40>

Accounting ID specified in the job (e.g. OJT attribute 'AccountId' or by the control panel).

jobaddressee

Name of recipient of the job.
