[Language]
You can change the display language of VDP editor to your preferred language at any time.
Select the language you want to use from the drop-down list and click [OK].
To apply the language, you have to close all applications of PRISMAprepare:
PRISMAprepare
PRISMAprepare administration
PRISMAprepare hotfolders (both the [Hot Folder Administration] and the [Hot Folder Monitoring Console] )
VDP editor
Then open the applications again.
The selected display language is not applied to the [Floating License Server]. The [Floating License Server] remains in its original language.
Option [Enable overprint preview] simulates overprints in the application. Use this option to get an estimation of how overprint behaviour appears in the printed document.
The overprint preview setting is not automatically available in the [Production] workspace. You have to select another workspace and then select the [Production] workspace to load the overprint preview setting in the [Production] workspace.
[Color spaces]
Select the default colour space for the application. The working spaces will be set automatically according to the selected colour space. The colour space embedded in a document can be different from the colour space used by the application. In this case, the application uses the embedded colour space of the document.
A colour space is an intermediate colour space used to define and edit colours in Adobe applications. Each colour model has an associated colour space profile. Use this option to choose the default colour space profiles.
A colour space profile acts as the source profile for newly created documents that use the associated colour model. For example, if sRGB IEC61966-2.1 is the current RGB colour space profile, each new RGB document that you create will use colours within the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 gamut. Colour spaces also determine the appearance of colours in documents that do not use a colour model.
Click [OK] to apply these settings to the application.
