Paper tray and output tray

Paper tray selection

Go to the Settings Editor and click [Transaction printing]  → [PCL transaction setup]. See sections "PCL tray-to-tray mapping" and "PCL tray to media for media <number>" to view the current paper tray mapping. If required, you can change the paper tray mapping in the Settings Editor.

The following table shows the PCL paper tray IDs that are supported by the varioPRINT 6000 series.

Use command <Esc>&l#H to select a paper tray. For example, use command <Esc>&l4H to select paper tray 3.

Output tray selection

Go to the Settings Editor and click [Transaction printing]  → [PCL transaction setup]. See sections "PCL" to view the default output tray. If required, you can change the default output tray in the Settings Editor.

The following table shows the PCL output tray IDs that are supported to select the output destination.

Use command <Esc>&l#G to select an output tray. For example, use command <Esc>&l1G to select the output tray TOP1_TRAY.

For a <esc>&n#Wp<##> command, # is always the number of characters in ##. For example, TOP1_TRAY uses 9 characters, so the command becomes <esc>@n9Wp<TOP1_TRAY>
