The finishing options will determine what to do with the printed sheets since the previous job separation. They can be stapled (one or two staples) and/or jogged (offset stacked). For multiple copies, the job separation is done after each copy.
The default values for staple and jog are used as specified via the Settings Editor. They can be overruled on job level by a JDF ticket or they can be specified via PJL at the beginning of a job by the FINISH and JOBOFFSET variables. At a job separation, all sheets up to this point are ejected using the active finishing options.
Subsets are supported through the PJL JOB/EOJ sequences (Job separation commands) or the <esc>&l1T job separation command. However, the PCL data stream will result into a single job in the UI of the print server.
