The job submission ID group maps the job submission ID and the job ID (jmJobIndex). The job submission ID is a number assigned by the client application that submits the job. The job ID (jmJobIndex) is used to identify jobs in the job table and the attribute table.
To be visible in the jmJobIDTable, the job submission id name must follow one of the following formats:
Jobname:jobid
dfaxxx<hostname><jobid>
The jobid is a number assigned by the client application that submits the job.
The jmJobSubmissionId is a concatenation of:
octet 1:
'9'
octets 2-40:
Contains the <host-name> . If the <host-name> portion is less than 40 octets, the left-most character in the string appears in octet position 2. Any unused portion of this field is filled with spaces. Otherwise, only the last 39 bytes shall be included.
octets 41-48:
'00000XXX' or '0000XXXX', where XXX or XXXX is the decimal (ASCII coded) representation of the LPR/LPD job id.
