Attribute group

The jmAttributeGroup contains the jmAttributeTable. The jmAttributeTable contains an entry for each job to specify its job attributes. Each jmAttributeEntry consists of the following supported objects:

  • jmAttributeTypeIndex

  • jmAttributeInstanceIndex

  • jmAttributeValueAsInteger

  • jmAttributeValueAsOctets

For print jobs:

  • The job name is derived from the job ticket or postscript comment, when available, or

  • The job name is supplied by the job submission client when this information is available.

  • Otherwise, the name of the first file name (without the path name) is used.

For non-print jobs, it is a string resulting from the concatenation of the type of the job (scan/copy) and the job id.
