You can connect Publisher Select 3 to different printers:
every time you start Publisher Select 3.
while Publisher Select 3 is open.
NOTE
The first time that you connect to an HTTPS enabled printer, you have to restart Publisher Select 3 in order to use a secure connection. The required certificate will be retrieved from the printer. A secure connection is displayed with a lock icon and the text [Secured] in front of the printer name. Both the icon and the text in green.
You can install and open one instance of Publisher Select 3 at a time per workstation.
NOTE
You can also install one instance of Publisher Select 3, one instance of Publisher Select 2 and one instance of Publisher Select 1 on the same workstation. These applications can run at the same time and address different printers.
Open Publisher Select 3.
Click on [Preferences] in the top menu bar.
Click on [General].
In the [Options] section, check the option [Always open the login window to select the printer].
Click [OK] to save your settings.
The next time you start the application, the printer connection screen will open.
Click on the left icon at the right side of the printer title bar to change the printer.
Select the required printer:
Select the target printer from a list of available printers detected on the subnetwork, and the printers that were configured during the software installation if applicable,
or type in its [Printer Host Name] or IP address.
Click on the Cancel icon to cancel the connection process while Publisher Select 3 is connecting to a printer.
NOTE
When you change a printer, the documents in the document list and in the Hot Folders of the disconnected printer will not be printed.
Click on the left icon at the right side of the printer title bar.
Click on the disconnect icon to disconnect the printer.
You can only disconnect a printer when there are two connected printers.

When you disconnect a printer, the documents in the document list and in the Hot Folders of the printer will not be printed.
Click on the plus icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to add a second printer.
Select the required printer:
Select the target printer from a list of available printers detected on the subnetwork, and the printers that were configured during the software installation if applicable,
or type in its [Printer Host Name] or IP address.
Click on the Cancel icon to cancel the connection process while Publisher Select 3 is connecting to a printer.
