Printing

  1. Select the desired printing action from the button in the bottom of the workspace.

    Job Editor offers the following types of printing:

    • [Print]

      Will lead to the job being printed.

      All the valid settings are taken into account.

    • [Print to file]

      You will be prompted for a location on the local storage to save your files:

      • One file of the type .PDF with all the production settings already applied.

      • One file of the type .XML (this is the job ticket)

    • [Proof print]

      Use this functionality to produce a single copy of the full opened document, regardless of the content of the [Number of sets] or [Print range] in the [Job ] section of the [Settings].

    • [Print job and ticket]

      Will lead to the job being printed.

      All the valid settings are taken into account.

      All the ticket items are printed, according to the settings defined in [Configuration]  → [Job info page settings]  → [Print job info page ticket]

      NOTE

      This functionality has to be enabled. This setting and the rest of configuration parameters can be changed by any user with the [Administrator] role.

  2. The Job Editor closes and all the changes are saved.
