[Detailed information] view of a printer

The [Detailed information] view shows media and more productivity information of a printer.

Use the [Detailed information] view to do the following:

  • analyze a non-productive printer.

  • discover which media run well on a printer.

  • get an overview of the media you used during the selected period.

The information you can see in the [Detailed information] view is described below.

NOTE

What kind of information is shown depends on the kind of printer.

Information

Description

[Non-productive time]

The [Non-productive time] area reflects the absolute time (hours:minutes) the printer was idle or in error while being on during the selected period. The reasons why the printer was idle or in error are also displayed here.

The reason for the printer to be idle are as follows:

  • The printer was waiting for input of an operator.

  • The printer had no jobs to process.

The reason for the printer to be in error are as follows:

  • An error occurred that could be solved by operators.

  • An error occurred that could not be solved by operators.

[Calibrations]

The [Calibrations] area shows the calibration information: types and number of performed calibration procedures as well as their total duration.

NOTE
  • The information about printer calibrations is available for PRISMAsync and non-PRISMAsync cutsheet printers.

  • The information about media family calibrations is not available for non-PRISMAsync cutsheet printers.

[Clicks] (not supported by imagePROGRAF printers)

For color printers, the number of color clicks and black&white clicks is shown in the [Clicks] area.

[Consumables]

The [Consumables] area shows the consumable consumption of the printer during the selected period.

[Most used media], [Media with most paper jams] and [Media with most rejects by sentry]

The media area sums up the following information about the used media for the selected period:

  • most used media;

  • media with most papers jams;

  • media with most sentry rejects (only supported by the VarioPrint i-series and varioPRINT iX-series).

    NOTE

    Keep in mind that the number of sentry rejects reflects the number of occurrences of sentry rejects, and not the number of rejected sheets.
