Allowing service to access your applications

Introduction

If, for any reason, you need some troubleshooting help, use the [Allow service access] function from the menu. You will have to select which of the applications you want to share with the service representative. There is a limited duration for this access, and you can select any of the predefined time intervals.

When the option is active, a reminder will be shown in all the selected applications, for the whole duration of the request. You can dismiss the reminder at any time.

During the period of time, the applications cards in the starting portal page will be visibly marked.

The contact associated with your tenant as service contact will receive an email message and will have access to your environment.

They can forward the invitation to a different representative having similar rights.

The account of the user doing the remote assistance will have the same permissions as any member of the [Administrators] group of your tenant.

If your Cloud Proxy installation contains the [Remote Assistance] module, you will be able use [Team Viewer] to let the service representative remotely connect to your screen.
