Climate measurements

The dashboard of the control panel shows messages and symbols to indicate when you need to pay attention to the climate measurements of the print room or paper modules.

Dashboard symbols

In the [Ambient parameters] pane, you will find readings for the ambient humidity and temperature of the print room. The [Paper modules] pane displays the relative humidity levels in the paper modules.

Ambient parameters in the print room are within the acceptable range.

Ambient humidity or temperature in the print room deviates from the required environment conditions.

NOTE

  • The ambient humidity must be 40-60%. The red symbol indicates that the ambient humidity is below 35% or above 65%.

    Low ambient humidity can reduce runnability, while high humidity can reduce print robustness.

  • The ambient temperature must be between 20 and 26°C (68 and 78.8°F). The red symbol indicates that the ambient temperature is below 19°C (66.2°F) or above 27°C (80.6°F).

    Low temperature can cause print quality issues, whereas high temperature can reduce image quality, robustness, and runnability.
