You can create your own Microsoft 365 external locations with WebTools Express.
For more detailed information on network settings, refer to the plotWAVE-colorWAVE Connectivity Manual for Windows.
Make sure the Microsoft 365 environment is set up and you know the [Application (client) ID] and [Directory (tenant) ID ].
Make sure the proxy settings are set correctly, if applicable within your company.
For this procedure, you need to log in as a System Administrator.
[Yes] means: a scan file sent to this location will be accompanied by a metadata file if metadata was provided. The name of the metadata file is the name of the scan file followed by '.xml'. For example scan001.pdf will be accompanied by a scan001.pdf.xml metadata file.
The metadata can be used by an automated workflow to link the scan file to a user.
For scan to uniFLOW [Save metadata] has to be set to [Yes].
The system will validate the external location and return an error message if the validation fails. This error message is a standard Microsoft error message, is available in English only, and needs to be checked with your IT administrator.
Only the connectivity to the Microsoft 365 cloud server is being tested. Account-specific issues can only be evaluated once the user tries to log in, after initiating a session on the user panel.
In case of an error, you can click [Save] to save the external location with the error or click [Change] to change the entries.
The external location can be used via the user panel and in WebTools Express.
