Create log file

Use the [Create log file with report / trace files] setting to create a log file. The ZIP file contains the trace file and several other files to analyse printer events or problems. Your service organisation can request for this log file in case printer problems occur.

1. To create a log file, click in the header and select [Create log file].

   You will be redirected to the Settings Editor of the printer.

   NOTE

   You only create a log file of the primary printer in a cluster. You can create a log file for another cluster printer manually via the Settings Editor of this printer.

2. Log in to the Settings Editor.

3. Click [Create log file with report / trace files] in the dialogue box.

4. Download the log file.

5. Store the log file at an external location.

6. Click [OK].
