Sync and delete media types in Caldera

Introduction

Caldera synchronizes all changes automatically, but you can also manually sync the media profiles with the printer so they become visible as media types on the operator panel instantly. Sometimes you also want to delete media types from this list.

Procedure

Open Caldera.
Double-click on the [EasyMedia] icon.

A window opens.
Select the printer icon and click on [Next].
Select your printer and click on [Next].
To delete media types:
1. From the list of media, select one or more media types you want to delete.
2. Click on [Delete] and confirm per media type. The media types are immediately removed from the printer.
  They are removed from the list on the operator panel under, [Media] → [Media type] .
To delete all media types from the printer:
1. Click on [Printer Medias]. A new window opens with all the media types known in the printer.
2. Click on [Delete all Printer Medias] to delete all the media types on the printer.
  NOTE
  All media types on the printer are deleted, this also includes media types added via other RIPs.
To sync media types:
1. Click on [Export all Medias from Rip to Printer] to sync the media types of the RIP with the printer.
  They are removed from the list on the operator panel under, [Media] → [Media type] .
