Layout

Introduction

Generic settings related to the layout of the job can have the values set.

Setting the layout

  1. Select the pages.

  2. Navigate to [Settings]  → [Application definition]  → [Layout]

  3. Setup the size parameters described in the table below.

  4. The [Layout] card updates to reflect the status.

Parameter

Description

Possible values

[Rotate]

  • No rotation is applied.

  • Rotate the page(s)clockwise 90 degrees.

  • Rotate the page(s) 180 degrees.

  • Rotate the page(s) counter-clockwise 90 degrees.

  • [Rotate 0 degrees]

  • [Rotate 90 degrees]

  • [Rotate 180 degrees]

  • [Rotate 270 degrees]

[Alignment on page]

Select one of the 9 possible values in the alignment selector:

  • Cardinal directions: top centre, centre left, centre right or bottom centre

  • Centre

  • Intermediate points: top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right

[Margin shift X Link]

The margin shift of the front side and back side are coupled by default. To unlock the relationship, click the chain link symbol.

Click the icon to toggle the link status:

  • [Linked]

  • [Unlinked]

[Margin shift X (front, back)]

The option shifts the source file page or pages on the document page to create more space at the binding edges on the X axis.

The maximum margin shift is +/- 100 mm / 3.94".

[Margin shift Y Link]

The margin shift of the front side and back side are coupled by default. To unlock the relationship, click the chain link symbol.

  • [Linked]

  • [Unlinked]

[Margin shift Y (front, back)]
