Define the synchronization area

What is the synchronization area

The synchronization area determines what part of the printer configuration must be synchronized.

IMPORTANT

[Synchronization area] options

There are three synchronization area options.

• [Color] (only applies to a cluster of color printers)

• [Media]

• [Workflow]

The [Color] option is not selectable for a cluster of B&W printers.

NOTE

In a cluster of color printers the [Media]  and [Color]  options can only be selected together.

Required authorization

Cloud service administrator that is also listed as PRISMAsync Remote Match user in the cloud service administration portal.

Select the synchronization area

1. For an already created cluster, click next to the cluster name.

   Edit cluster

2. Use the [Synchronization area] option to define the synchronization area.

   • [Media]

   • [Workflow]

   • [Color]

3. Click [Save].
