Banding within swaths

Introduction

Solve white/light lines within a swath or complete light or darker swaths on your print. It appears in one or various colours. Follow the procedure below. You can stop at any time in the procedure when the problem is solved.

Procedure

  1. Perform automatic maintenance with nozzle optimisation. Start automatic maintenance.

  2. Perform media calibration. Calibrate the media.
  3. Check the [Vacuum power] setting in the RIP. Too much vacuum power can lead to an uncontrolled slipping of the media. Change the media settings.

  4. Check if the [Media thickness] setting in the RIP is correct. Change the media settings
