Print a [Double sided banner] application

Introduction

With the [Double sided banner] recipe you can create banners printed on both sides.

Procedure

  1. Launch the ONYX Thrive RIP Queue.
  2. Open a PDF that you want to print using the [Double sided banner] recipe.
    NOTE

    The PDF must contain two pages, one for the front and one for the back side of the banner.

  3. Select your PDF and click on the [PRISMAguide] button.
  4. Select the [Double sided banner] recipe.

    The [Overview] tab opens.

  5. Open the [Layers] tab and check the settings.

    The recipe automatically assigns the settings per layer.

    The [Double sided banner] recipe consists of 2 layers, one for the front, one for the back side of the media.

  6. Open the [Print] tab.

    In the recipe the [Leading white strip] and [Trailing white strip] are automatically selected and set to 1600 mm. Also the [Add lead-in/out images] are printed.

  7. The [Job submission] is set to [Both sides].

    This means that the [Front] and [Back] are submitted to the ONYX Thrive RIP Queue at once. The operator decides which one he wants to submit to the printer.

  8. Click on the [Print] button to submit the job to the ONYX Thrive RIP Queue.
