Remove cloud service printers and users

This topic contains the following instructions.

  1. Go to the cloud service portal to register the printer

  2. Remove a printer

  3. Remove a cloud service user from an application user list

Go to the cloud service administration portal

When you have a cloud service administrator account, you can manage the registered printers and manage users for the cloud service applications. The cloud service administration portal is hosted on Microsoft Azure.

  1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Configuration]  → [Connectivity]  → [Cloud service].

  2. Click [Open cloud service administration portal].

NOTE

For direct access to the cloud service administration portal, enter https://remotecontrol.cpp.canon in the address bar of your browser.

Remove a printer

  1. Go to the cloud service administration portal.

  2. Log in as cloud service administrator.

  3. Click next to the printer name.

  4. Click [Remove].

  5. Click [Log out] to leave the portal.

Remove a cloud service user or administrator from an application user list

There must be at least one cloud service administrator registered. You can remove a user or administrator from one or more application user lists.

IMPORTANT

When you remove the user that is cloud server administrator from an application list, this cloud service administrator no longer can access the application.

The PRISMAsync Remote Match user that is cloud service administrator is responsible for the creation of clusters.

  1. Go to the cloud service administration portal.

  2. Log in as cloud service administrator.

  3. Go to one of the user lists.

  4. Click next to the email address of the user.

  5. Click [Remove].

  6. Click [Log out] to leave the portal.
