[Application size]

Introduction

Generic settings related to the size of the job can have the values set.

Setting the size of the application

  1. Select the pages.

  2. Navigate to [Settings]  → [Application definition]  → [Application size]

  3. Setup the size parameters described in the table below.

  4. The [Application size] card updates to reflect the status.

Parameter

Possible values

[Page size]

Select which of the PDF boxes will act as the page size. Default value is the [Media box].

  • [Trim box]

  • [Bleed box]

  • [Crop box]

  • [Media box]

  • [Custom]

[Standard size]

Select one of the available media from the list.

[Page orientation]

Select how the printed media should be oriented.

  • [Portrait]

  • [Landscape]

[Scale aspect ratio]

Select whether you want to use the same scaling factor on both vertical and horizontal axis.

If the option [Fixed] is selected, both values for [Scale (X,Y)] are the same.

  • [Fixed] - the same scaling factor is used for X and Y.

  • [Flexible] - different scaling factor is used for X and Y.

[Scale (X,Y)]

You can scale the content of the page.

Scaling starts from the center of the page. Page content that falls outside the page size after scaling will not be printed.

[Fit to page]

Select whether you want to set the orientation once for the whole document.

  • Checked - the content of the page will be scaled in order to fit to the selected page size.

  • Unchecked - the content of the page will not be scaled. You may end with only parts of the content being printed.

[Orient all like first page]

Select whether you want to set the orientation once for the whole document.

  • Checked - all the pages are set to the orientation of the first page.

  • Unchecked - you can set orientation for each individual page.
