[Sheet programming]

Introduction

You can manipulate the individual sheets of the document after impositioning.

Page programming versus sheet programming

In the [Application] view, you can do the [Page programming] at page level in the PDF file.

in the [Production] view, you can do the [Sheet programming] at sheet level on the job and in general.

Some examples to help clarify the differences:

  • If you created a booklet, you are able to modify the cover of the booklet in the "[Production] " tab by selecting one sheet. In the tab "[Application] ", you need to select the front page of the PDF file and the last page of the PDF file.

  • If you have used impositioning like [Cut and stack], you are not able to modify the media of individual pages of the application. The pages can be printed on the same sheet, so these pages have the same media type, weight or size.

Accessibility

[Sheet programming] is only accessible when the "Imposition" subscription is active.

In the [Production] tab, you will find the > sign, which will open the [Sheet programming] menu when pressed.
