Set the PDF render engine

Introduction

Select [APPE: Adobe PDF Print Engine] for best quality and compatibility with for example Adobe Acrobat. Select [Adobe PostScript interpreter] for compatibility with POWERsync+-based plotWAVE products.

Both choices of the [PDF render engine] support wipeout correction.

Procedure

  1. Open the [Preferences] - [Print job defaults] tab.
  2. Click on [Edit] in the [PDF - General] section, or click on the [PDF render engine] setting.
  3. Select the correct value.
  4. Click [Ok] to confirm, or [Cancel] to reject your entries.
