Check why the printer does not start printing the job

When you use the Job Editor in Onyx to send a print job to the printer, it appears automatically in the user interface of theTouchstone ALPS Engine.

When the printer does not start printing the job, open the user interface to make sure the job is visible in the queue. If not, check for any error message in the [History of events].

Possible reasons:

  1. An Alto effect and a Brila effect are combined in the same job. Make sure you have only applied one effect to the job.

  2. A Brila job has been sent to the queue while the printer is configured without varnish ink.
