There are two aerosol filters located on both sides next to the printhead. The user interface gives a warning when you must replace the aerosol filters.
The entire filter is replaced, including the frame.

Always wear protective gloves when opening the covers of the machine.
Wear gloves when contact with ink or maintenance materials is possible. Gloves should always overlap sleeves. Follow the ink related Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines carefully in order to ensure maximum safety.

On the user interface, go to [Maintenance], then [Replace the aerosol filters] and tap [Start maintenance action]. The printhead carriage automatically moves into position |

Put on the Colorado XL-series approved gloves. |

Go to the output side of the printer and open the manual maintenance door on the left-hand side. |

Locate the aerosol filters on both sides next to the printhead. The aerosol filter is attached to a frame. You replace the frame along with the aerosol filter. |

Pull the handle to remove the filter frame from its slot. |

Take a new aerosol filter and insert it into the slot. |

The handles of the frames must point downwards. |
|
|

Repeat for the second aerosol filter. |

Dispose the gloves and used filters as chemical waste according to local regulations. |

Close the manual maintenance door. |

On the user interface, tap [Confirm] to end the maintenance action. |
