Overprinting black

Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Colour]  → [Colour defaults] . See setting [Overprinting black].

When [Overprinting black] is enabled, "black" objects are always printed with overprint even if overprint was not enabled in the original PDF document. This setting is valid for PDF files which are printed through APPE.
