Download data log files

Introduction

When your local Service representative requests it, you can download the data log files of your printer via the settings editor.

Open the settings editor.
Click on [Support] → [Troubleshooting] .
Click on [Create data dump file]. A window opens.
Click on the [Create data dump file] button. A ZIP file is created.

NOTE
The creation of the ZIP file can take quite some time, up to 30 minutes. You can click on [Ok] to close the window and click again on [Create data dump file] to check at any moment if the ZIP file is available.
Click on the file to download it. Save the file.
Click on [Create trace file]. A window opens.
Click on the [Create trace file] button. A ZIP file is created.
Click on the file to download it. Save the file.
Send the set of files to your local Service representative.
