The Océ VarioPrint 6000 Series can emulate a Xerox® 700 Digital Color Press. When you use Océ DPlink, the Xerox® FreeFlow™ Makeready and Output Manager software can print to the Océ VarioPrint 6000 Series.
The Océ VarioPrint 6000 Series supports the Document Scan and Makeready application of the Xerox FreeFlow software. To create the connection between the Océ VarioPrint 6000 Series and the Xerox FreeFlow software, Océ developed the Océ DPlink software as an interface between the two systems.
Océ DPlink is a software application that runs on the PRISMAsync. A print job is created when you print from the Xerox Makeready application. The print job contains a job ticket, which defines how the job is programmed, and the document content which is embedded in PostScript.
The job is submitted via LPR/IPP towards the LPD interface of the PRISMAsync. The received print job is converted and processed by the PDF interpreter.
The Océ VarioPrint 6000 Series supports direct PDF printing.
The Océ DPlink interface can be used for:
FreeFlow Makeready 8.0 and 9.0
FreeFlow Print Manager 8.0 and 9.0
FreeFlow Output manager 8.0 and 9.0
