Print a job using manual nesting automations

Before you begin

Configure the connection settings for ProCut in Arizona Xpert Engine. See Configure Arizona Xpert Engine ProCut settings
Configure the ProCut Server. See Configure the ProCut Server

Open ONYX
Open a PDF
Select the job and click on the [Arizona Xpert] button to open the job in Arizona Xpert Engine.
Select a recipe with a cut path. For example: Blockout sticker with Cut.
Check the [Overview], [Layers] and the [Cut] tab.
Enter the number of panels in the [Overview] or [Media layout] tab that you want to print and that will be nested on the media.
Click on the jigsaw icon in the right upper corner.
Select via a drop-down list a ProCut automation
Choose Send to nesting SAV. The job will be sent to the nesting queue in ProCut Prepress.
Open ProCut Prepress and select the nesting queue tab.
The jobs are grouped by media.

In Self-adhesive vinyl you will find your job and more jobs that are waiting to be nested .
Double-click on the media nesting queue.
The jobs in the Self-adhesive vinyl nesting queue are nested.
Click on [Accept], when nesting is ready.
Select in [Send files to] the Arizona Xpert hot folder.
This is the folder you defined for interacting with Arizona Xpert. See Configure the ProCut Server
Click on [Generate]
The ProCut Job is added in Arizona Xpert Engine.
See that the recipe is applied to the ProCut job.
Check the settings, then click on the print button.

The print job is submitted to ONYX.
Select [Print] to submit to the printer.
If placement is set to automatically start in printing ONYX, the jobs will be submitted automatically to the printer controller.
When the job is printed you can select the job in the ProCut Vision cut queue and cut the job.
