[Automatic rotation behavior]

Introduction

Depending on the configured printer model, you can set the [Automatic rotation behavior] to optimize the print productivity of the printer. This feature is used to define the default behavior of the [Rotation] setting when its value is set to [Automatic].

Procedure

  1. Click on the user name in the top menu bar.
  2. Click on [Printers].

    A new window opens

  3. Click on the required printer name.
  4. Set the [Automatic rotation behavior]:

    Setting

    Action

    [Media saving]

    Data orientation can be automatically modified according to the drawing surface, for a minimum use of paper.

    [Productive]

    Optimizes the productivity. Data orientation can be automatically modified to ensure the fastest printout delivery.

  5. Click [Update] to save your settings.
    NOTE

    When you make changes to the preferences per printer, always click on [Update] in the [Printers] screen, for each printer you are making changes to.
