Clean the media input section of the folding device

Before you begin

Make sure you have the following cleaning materials at hand.

Clearly visible pollution on the media input section of the folding device can cause pollution on the printed output.

To clean the media input section of the folding device, do the following.

Pause the active print job.
1. On the user panel tap on [Jobs]
2. Tap on [Queue]
3. Select the active print job and tap on [Pause].
Move the folding device away from the printer.
Put on gloves and use a lint free cloth, slightly moistened with demi water, to carefully clean the polluted surface.
IMPORTANT
Do not damage the sensors.
Use a dry lint free cloth to carefully rub dry the surface.
IMPORTANT
Do not damage the sensors.
Place back the folding device behind the printer.
On the user panel tap on the green [Resume] button to resume printing.
