Job settings

PPML documents describe the content of a page, but not the print settings. The print settings are taken from the automated workflow, the job ticket, the PDL-data settings, or the system default.

The priority to retrieve the print settings when option "Overrule the job ticket" is enabled in the automated workflow:

1. The automated workflow settings

2. The job ticket

3. The PDL-data settings

4. The system defaults for PPML configured in the Settings Editor

The priority to retrieve the print settings when option "Overrule the job ticket" is disabled in the automated workflow:

1. The job ticket

2. The automated workflow settings

3. The PDL-data settings

4. The system defaults for PPML configured in the Settings Editor

NOTE

The first available print settings overrule any other print settings.
