A synchronisation error or problem that occurs at a printer is reported in PRISMAsync Remote Match, on the control panel of the printer and in PRISMAsync Remote Manager.
A disconnected printer does not participate in the synchronisation process.
A printer that is disconnected shows:
.
Disconnected means that the cluster printer is not able to establish a connection with the physical printer via the cloud service. For example, because the printer is in deep sleep, has been shut down, or that the printer is not connected to the network.
For the
[Merge with main printer ] and
[Overwrite by main printer] modes: When the main printer is disconnected (), the synchronisation cannot start.
For the
[Merge all cluster printers] mode: When one or more cluster printers are disconnected (), the synchronisation cannot start.
What to do
Check the physical printers that are disconnected. Check if the printer is shut down or in deep sleep mode. Also check if the printer is connected to the network.
When the disconnected printers are switched on, in ready status, and connected to the network, continue with step 3 to quickly establish the connection again.
Delete the cluster with the disconnected printer or printers.
Create the cluster again and add the cluster printers.
When you are able to start a synchronisation but one or more printers are disconnected, you receive a warning.
