The PRISMAsync Print Server sends a list of the available output trays to the host. The output trays can be selected using output tray IDs: Media Destination ID. The output tray IDs in the host application are equal to the ID in the IPDS data stream.
The number of available output tray IDs is reported to the host during start-up of the printer. The IPDS output tray ID is directly mapped to the output tray ID of the printer. Output tray ID 0 is not supported.

Offset stacking allows you to separate jobs or documents within the job through an offset of the stacker tray. An Alternate Offset Stacker command in the IPDS data stream will cause the printer to shift the output tray before the next page is stacked.
The Medium Finishing Control command in the IPDS data stream allows control of finishing. The following commands are supported:

Legend:
Offset stack selection is not controlled via an X 85 triplet. When offset stacking is enabled, then offset stacking can be selected via IPDS. The offset stacking is controlled through the IPDS command "Execute Order Anystate" (XOA) with the sub-order "Alternate Offset Stacker".
