You can mark or unmark pages. You can process the marked pages separately from other pages of the document, for example:
Print only the marked pages, or do not print the marked pages.
Print only the colour marked sheets on a colour machine.
Use inserts for the marked pages when you print your document.
Use a different tray for the marked pages when you print your document.
Select the pages that you want to mark or unmark.
To mark the pages, click [Pages] - [Mark] - [On].
To unmark the pages, click [Pages] - [Mark] - [Off].
Click [Pages] - [Mark] - [Color].
The automatic colour detection marks all pages that contain colour.
This option is only available in the [VDP] workspace.
Click [Pages] - [Mark] - [VDP].
All pages that contain [VDP frames] are marked. [VDP frames] are frames of type [Text frame], [Image frame] and [Bar code frame].
This option is only available in the [Pages] workspace.
You can define a number of preconditions to define when pages are considered colour pages. A page will be marked as a colour page only if the preconditions are met.

Define the minimum percentage of colour on a page:
The threshold defines the percentage of colour pixels that must be detected on a page to mark that page as a colour page. The threshold can range from 0% to 20%.
[Threshold] = 0%:
The page is marked as a colour page when one colour pixel is detected.
[Threshold] = 20%:
All pages with a colour percentage of 20%, or larger, are marked as colour pages.
Exclude greyscale images from the colour detection:
Pages with greyscale images can be marked as colour pages by the colour detection process. Increase the value of option [Grayscale tolerance] to exclude greyscale values from the colour detection. The threshold can range from 0% to 20%.
[Grayscale tolerance] = 0%:
The page is marked as a colour page when one greyscale pixel is detected.
[Grayscale tolerance] = 20%:
All pages with a greyscale percentage of 20%, or larger, are marked as colour pages.
You can exclude objects from the colour detection. To do so, enable option [Only process the contents of the page.].
Objects are user defined content: [Stamps], [Bleed tabs], [Tab captions], [Spine caption], [Header and Footer].
Click [OK].
All existing marks are removed prior to the new colour detection.
