The import service uses hot folders to import orders or jobs into the system. This is called automatic import. You can pause the import service. When paused, the import service stops watching the configured hot folders. Customers can still submit orders to PRISMAdirect, but the orders will not be imported until the hot folder is active again.
You can create and configure hot folders in the "Configuration" workspace.
