Introduction

The [Test report] app provides detailed information about the test result.

Overview of the [Test report] app

You can open the [Test report] app via [Validation results] app in two ways:

  • Select the test and click the [Open] button.

    [Test instances] table
  • Double-click the test.

General color validation test reports

FOGRA test report

General color validation test reports consist of four parts:

  • meta data: [Date and time], [Test name], [Test specification], [Print system name], [Substrate] and [Comments];

  • [Validation results]: metrics, their measured values, tolerance values, status (passed/failed) and quality level;

    For failed tests, you will get pop-up with a link to the possible causes.

  • substrate, primaries, overprints and grey values;

  • color patch measurement results.

G7® verification test reports

G7® verification report

The G7® verification test reports consist of four parts:

  • meta data: [Date and time], [Test report], [Test specification], [Print system name], [Substrate] and [Comments];

  • [Validation results]: metrics, their average and highest measured values;

  • weighted ΔL and ΔCh values mapped along the tone value axis (0 - 100%);

  • reference and measured print density curves for black (K) and composite greys (CMY).
