The printer will not attempt to cycle up an external finisher that is offline. It will halt sheet deliveries to a device that goes offline as soon as possible. The printer will not attempt to cycle up an external finisher that is faulted. It will halt sheet deliveries to a device that goes faulted as soon as possible. When a device goes faulted while processing sheets, any sheets/sets that have not been delivered will be reprinted. (Depending on chosen recovery strategy) |
S2 |
Full |
Indicates a temporarily unavailability of the external finisher. A possible cause can be that it has or will shortly reach a capacity limit or that it has depleted a consumable. The signal can be used by the external finisher to stop the printing progress smoothly. |
The printer will not attempt to cycle up an external finisher that has reported “full”. The printer will halt sheet deliveries to a device that reports “full” as soon as possible. The number of processed sheets that still will be delivered depends on the chosen “stop type” and the defined “nr of delivered sets” for the external finisher. |
