Define and print your samples

Click on [Sampling] to access the PRISMAguide XL Engine sampling functionality.

When a job is sent to sampling for the first time, automatically one sample is going to be created that matches the current configuration of the job.

You can switch between the tabs to access various sampling features.

Click on [Test areas].
Select one or more test areas and click on [Accept test areas].
The sampling job is updated to match the selected test area(s).
Open the [Layers] tab.
Use the duplicate icon to create new samples. For each sample you can add or remove layers and change the print settings for each layer.
Open the [Group] tab.
Configure the sample layout.

You can select [Auto rotate] if you want to save media.
Click on [Group samples].
Open the [Print] tab.
Click on the green print button to submit your samples to the printer.
When you have printed your samples, decide which sample looks best.
Click on [Apply to job] and select the sample that you want to use to update the recipe.
The initial job is now going to be updated with the settings you defined for your best sample.
