When you are calibrating a smoother or weaker media, the media can start to slip on the platen resulting in an inaccurate calibration. Misalignment observed on the calibration prints can indicate the problem. Follow the procedure below to improve media transportation during the calibration process. You can stop at any time in the procedure when the problem is solved.
Do no decrease the vacuum power of zone A.
When you decrease the [Vacuum power] too much, media can come loose from the printer platen resulting in media touches as well.
For each step you decrease and have changed the setting: reload and calibrate the media again.
