LEF: Long-edge feed

SEF: Short-edge feed

¹: The simplex (one-sided) print speed when sheets are delivered face-down. This means that the sheets are not turned. When the sheets are delivered face-up (sheets are turned), the simplex print speed is slightly lower. A4: 168 ipm, LTR 165 ipm. The difference in print speed is only significant for A4/LTR alike paper sizes.

The enhanced simplex (one-sided) print speed option increases the print speed by separating sheets from multiple PIM's.
The enhanced simplex print speed option is default enabled.
The enhanced simplex print speed option increases the print speed under the following conditions:
- The varioPRINT iX-series has at least 2 paper modules. Both paper modules must contain the media that is used for the job
- Face-down delivery to the main tray of the high capacity stacker
- Face-up delivery to the top tray of the high capacity stacker
- Face-up delivery to the external finishing output
The increased print speed is valid for media with length > 200 mm.
