Agfa :Apogee-specific extensions

This paragraph describes the extensions for Agfa :Apogee of the generic JMF communication. :Apogee is the prepress workflow of Agfa Graphics.

Agfa :Apogee activates specific extensions on PRISMAsync Print Server

  • Syntax

    XPath: /JMF/@[<namespace>:]AgentName

    Type

    Supported values

    If the value of @AgentName starts with "Apogee", the Agfa :Apogee-specific extensions will be activated on the PRISMAsync Print Server. Other values for @AgentName are ignored.

    The namespace of AgentName is optional. All values are supported for the namespace of @AgentName.

    Example

    /JMF/@Agfa:AgentName, /JMF/@AgentName, etc.

    XPath: /JMF/@SenderID

    If the value of @SenderID starts with "Agfa", the Agfa :Apogee-specific extensions will be activated on the PRISMAsync Print Server. Other values for @SenderID are ignored.

Description

Agfa :Apogee can activate the specific extensions for Agfa :Apogee on PRISMAsync Print Server by sending @AgentName and/or @SenderID.

PRISMAsync Print Server response to @AgentName and/or @SenderID of Agfa :Apogee

    Description

    Agfa uses the response of the PRISMAsync Print Server to select the JMF communication for the PRISMAsync Print Server.

    XPath: /JMF[@Version] and /JMF[@MaxVersion]

    1.4

    Description

    The supported JMF version is 1.4. The PRISMAsync Print Server supports parts of version 1.4 for interoperability with Agfa :Apogee.

Note that PRISMAsync Print Server reports @AgentName=PRISMAsync and @Version/@MaxVersion=1.4 only to Agfa :Apogee.
