Before you start to configure PRISMAsync cloud service applications

The PRISMAsync cloud service portal is hosted on Microsoft Azure.

When the printer must be used in one or more PRISMAsync cloud service applications, you perform the following tasks in the listed order. The detailed instructions are part of the next topics.

1. Create a dedicated cloud service administrator account

When you have a dedicated cloud service administrator account (Microsoft or Google), you can access the cloud service administration portal.

2. Prepare this printer for the cloud service

Before a printer can be used in one or more cloud service applications, you need to configure some settings in the Settings Editor.

3. Register this printer for the cloud service

With your cloud service administrator account, you access the cloud service administration portal to register the printer that you are working on.

4. Register cloud service users or administrators

Users must have a Microsoft or Google account.

With your cloud service administrator account, you access the cloud service administration portal to register users and administrators for the cloud service applications.

5. Administer printers and users

With your cloud service administrator account, you access the cloud service administration portal to do the following administration tasks:

  • Add or remove a user for one or more cloud service applications.

  • Remove a printer that is no longer needed for cloud service applications.

  • Open the cloud service applications: PRISMAlytics Dashboard or PRISMAsync Remote Match.
