The PRISMAsync Print Server supports several PPML formats and the PDF/VT format for variable data printing:
PPML subset known as “PPML/GA Level 1” aka thick PPML
Thick PPML means sending a zip-file to the printer. The zip file contains all data.
PPML/GA level 1 and PPML versions 1.5, 2.1 and 2.2
PPML zip files created according to the “Packaging PPML Datasets for Transport using ZIP files or Removable Media” standard
Submission of PPML jobs through LPR, socket and hotfolder.
NOTE
You need a licence to use PPML. APPE is required for PPML support.
